Andrew is an award-winning producer and has produced 3 films and 2 musicals in the last 6 years. He was listed for Breakthrough Producer for his debut film Urban Hymn which he made back in 2014. The film was a critical success and won Best Film at the Giffoni Film Festival and the ‘Organiser’s Prize’ at the Ale Kino Film Festival in Poland, as well as being accepted into the Toronto Film Festival where the film received a standing ovation from the public.
Since then, Andrew went on to produce musical Last Night A DJ Saved My Life in 2015, with Ministry of Sound, starring David Hasselhoff. This was shortly followed in 2016 by hit comedy feature film Finding Your Feet, starring Imelda Staunton, Celia Imrie, Timothy Spall and Joanna Lumley. The film picked up distribution deals in over 40 territories and won the Palm Springs Audience Award, as well as grossing over $20m to date. In 2017 Andrew was asked to produce a grueling 38 week regional tour of a Dusty Springfield musical and in the following year produced feature film The Corrupted starring Sam Claflin, Timothy Spall, Hugh Bonneville, Noel Clarke and BIFA winner Naomi Ackie. Andrew is now working with Academy Award Winner Jeremy Irons on a new feature film about the life of the late, great Sir Henry Cecil and legendary horse Frankel. Additionally, he is collaborating with Sony Music and The Orbison Estate to bring a new musical to the West End in 2022.
Before co-founding the company, Andrew was heading up Business Development at a creative production agency for the entertainment industry, where he was responsible for expanding the business into new areas and looked to progress into growth areas such as branded content. Prior to this, Andrew worked in marketing communications as an account manager with retail marketing and design for such clients as Tesco, Sky, HMV, Discovery, Emap, Universal, Sony, EMI and Momentum.
However, Andrew’s first job was 3 years at a film marketing agency assisting on campaigns for some of the most prolific films of recent times, such as Peter Jackson’s epic Oscar winning The Lord Of The Rings trilogy, Martin Scorsese’s Gangs Of New York, starring Daniel Day Lewis and Leonardo Dicaprio and Baz Lurman’s Moulin Rouge.
