Synopsis: Kate Miller, a veterinarian in Kruger National Park in South Africa, returns home to Kenya after her mother is murdered when the elephant sanctuary she founded has been burnt to the ground by militia backed poachers.

Having been a ranger herself years ago, Kate was attacked on patrol and held captive. Now home for the first time in a decade, Kate decides to remain and rebuild her mother’s elephant orphanage and take on the poachers, with the help of Jaali Balewa, a former poacher turned ranger. Jaali has endured years of tragedy and loss and seeks a new approach and leadership to protect the reserve at any cost.
